  1. Being an ESL student myself, this blog immediately caught my attention. To this day, and even though I have a B.S. degree and a graduate certificate, I find myself struggling with the English language. I'm glad to see that technology is being integrated into ESL learning as it provides another way to help us succeed. Great job!

    Grading Rubric:

    Content and Creativity +1
    Voice +1
    Mechanics +1
    Text Layout +1
Hyperlinks +1 - Great idea to link directly to the Amazon link for the book.
    Graphics and Multimedia +1
    Citation +1

    Overall Score 7/7

  2. The layout of your blog is fantastic! It has a very modern look to it, with a simplicity to make it comfortable to read and not such a clutter of graphics and text like other blogs I've seen before.
I was also an ESL student growing up, although the title didn't necessarily describe me since I actually became more fluent in English than Spanish. I understand how some ESL students feel, young or old, because even at times, I myself struggle with Spanish even after having used it most of my life.

As I said before, everything on this blog worked perfectly, and was pleasing to the eyes. 10/10

  3. I really enjoyed your blog. It reminded me how important ESL programs are in my community to help people gain access to education and secure a better job. Your videos supported your topic well and I am glad to see that technology is used in ESL programs to help people learn the language and culture. I can see how watching a show that uses a lot of English language idioms can help students progress in their spoken language skills. You do a great job in writing in English, especially since you arrived in the states after high school. You are proof that ESL programs work! Thanks for showcasing a very important topic in your blog.

  4. By just reading the title of your blog , I thought this is going to be a lecture type blog. However, after reading the whole thing I noticed it is more a real life story and you did a good job in your reflection.
