Wow! I think that was one of the coolest videos I've seen. I love your content and your informative blog. It was creative, and the font colors match very well. Great video! Score: 10/10
I really enjoyed your topic. The blog was layout out with good colors and format. I really enjoyed the video and your blog's information. I would give you an 8/10 as it is right now and would easily give you a 10/10 if you had more links to the two guys in the video and information, such as where is one of their restaurants, do they have an online show. My palette just wanted more good stuff. Bill Henshaw
Blog itself looked beautiful, but the post lacked some of the technical aspects required. There were no hyperlinks, it did not create a space for readers to have a discussion on the topic (no call to action, etc), partly because it was more of a review of the video rather than a discussion that used the video as evidence. Otherwise I found it superb. 8/10
I can reflect the sentiments above about possibly including a few more links to more information about these guys, but aside from that, the format, the styling, and (especially) the content was very well done.
I remember hearing about these guys years ago on a news report of some people in New York who had to pay money to join a party where they ate those berries and started eating other food, where they found broccoli to be sweet and savory, and strawberries to taste like chocolate, without the chocolate. It's pretty amazing, to say the least.
I really enjoyed this video and liked how you related it to your interest as well as having plans to incorporate it in your classroom. I think its important for students to see the importance of food in relation to health and fitness and what better than viewing from from a different perspective. The only thing the blog needed would be a link to these chefs restaurant website to further explore the topics. Other than that great job 9/10
Hi Brenda. I thought your statements about how to use blog technology with students was right on the mark. What a fantastic way to teach children that common vegetable choices can be re-purposed to create sustainable food supplies by simply learning gastronomy and the science of chemistry. The visual imagery created by the Chef Cantu in the TED video is very impressive. I have watched Chef Cantu do his science on Iron Chef. It was amazing watching him describe his art of food science. You did a really top notch job.
Good job Brenda, Your entering sentence is quite inviting and you write the whole thing very well. I think while we appreciate something interesting like this we should also try to be a little critical. This comment from a viewer on Youtube got my attention.
